Bautista undergoes surgery in Qatar
Injured Suzuki rider Alvaro Bautista has undergone successful surgery on his broken leg in Qatar. There had been initial discussion over whether Bautista should be flown back to Spain for treatment after fracturing his left femur in a practice accident on Friday night. The decision was taken to carry out the operation in Doha's Hamad Medical Corporation Hospital, with his rehabilitation to take place in Madrid
